Visitors
If you are attending WSI for a short-term visit (under 28 days per year), you will be treated as a visitor.
Your WSI contact is responsible for:
- Initiating and organising your visitor pass application.
- Meeting and escorting you from an agreed location.
A visitor pass allows you to be on-site only while under the supervision of a WSI access card holder for the entire duration of your visit.
If you are coming to conduct emergency or one-off works, we treat you as a visitor.
Workers
If you will be working at WSI for more than 28 days per year, you are required to obtain a WSI issued access card.
This process is initiated as a part of your onboarding and includes the following requirements:
- Completion of online onboarding and induction training using our Learning Management System.
- Submission of a request for a WSI access card.
If your role involves working in any restricted areas (such as terminals past security screening points or airside), you must provide;
- a job-ready background check, ASIC, or redemption.
- Supporting documentation when applying for the Access Card.
Note: While awaiting the issuance of your WSI Access Card, you are required to obtain a Visitor Pass to work at WSI. During this period, you must be escorted and supervised at all times by your designated sponsor or a staff member who holds a valid WSI Access Card.
Links to our Learning Management System and access card application will be sent to you as part of the onboarding process.
Once your access card is ready, you will receive an email with confirmation and instructions on how to collect the card.
Refer to WSI Security Awareness Guide for further information.
